At present, there are many challenges facing the built environment industry in the UK from inflated energy prices and the cost-of-living crisis to housing supply issues and changes to the regulatory landscape on the horizon. To address the disparity of data from the variety of metered equipment deployed in built assets, ARM-Billing connects to ARM-Hub to integrate with any smart meter, IoT sensor, BMSs, and 3rd party APIs to allow for seamless data collection across the entire portfolio. ARM-Hub aggregates all your asset data onto one platform connected to your Billing software to ensure visibility not only of portfolios but also visibility on a development-by-development and property-by-property basis. Housing data in one platform makes it significantly easier to provide a higher quality of customer service to the end consumer by introducing a simplified procedure for addressing issues. It also makes it easier for you to understand where issues are most commonly seen, how they can be resolved, and plan for the future using this data.
A standout feature for eliminating revenue leakage with ARM-Billing is ensuring there is always an active bill payer for a property. We structure your networks/developments, the properties connected to them, and the customers who own and/or live at them. We differentiate in our software between Charge and Account Periods to ensure there is visibility on when a service was used at a property, how long for (Charge Period), and who now should pay for it over what period within that (Account Period). ~
ARM-Billing makes it simple to set these different periods for owner and tenant by clearly labelling who is who in the system, linking them to the property, and displaying the Charge and Account periods with linked tariff and payment methods for as many individuals as required. This system seamlessly ensures that there are no void periods as it is easier than ever to identify who is the active bill payer and over what period.
Additionally we are able to flexibly adjust these periods to accommodate move-in/move-out discrepancies and update property information to ensure the correct person is billed for the correct period with as little disruption as possible.
ARM-Billing can offer live financial reporting with real-time debt amount and debt age, at the Development, Property, and Customer layers. With clear colour coding at all levels, the user has visibility at a glance to understand where debt may be within a portfolio, and implement measures to resolve this issue. It is also possible to export financial reports from your platform for ready-made reporting at your next financial review.
We provide credit billing, post-pay, and PAYG for your portfolio. Most notably though, we are also able to offer Cloud PAYG as an option to clients. Cloud PAYG can connect with your meter to calculate consumption and balance figures and send commands automatically such as a disconnect/reconnect command to the meter wirelessly. We are also able to set up Direct Debit credit billing and post-pay either via an end-consumer bank or via credit/debit card as a regular, recurring payment.
Our platform has been designed for scalability for our clients, a feature that was important to us has been to ensure that ARM-Billing has as intuitive and user-friendly interface as possible for customer service agents. We have designed our platform to ensure that actions, be it changing customer details, updating a tariff, or managing a move-in/move-out for an end-consumer, are accessible and clear. Customer information is displayed within the platform alongside usage and financial figures such as their tariff and payment method for quick access. Finally, permissions for certain higher-level actions are streamlined to ensure a clear process and shorten ticket times for end-consumers.

We provide onboarding normally within 2 weeks to our platform for free with no hidden fees. Our pricing is based on per meter point connection per month and the number of properties billed. Our onboarding process is streamlined to ensure minimal disruption to your customers and existing billing protocols.
To onboard you to our platform, the primary data we need is your properties, users, meters and accounts. These are all filled out using intuitive Excel files. We can onboard you in stages to ensure that there is complete flexibility based on your needs and that there’s minimal disruption during your migration to the platform. For example;
Scenario 1
~You know your users, properties and accounts, but getting your meters will take time – no problem – we can bulk upload meter readings until you can migrate over.
Scenario 2
~You have a meter gateway ready to go but can only give us the connections to properties later – no problem – we can ingest your readings and then link them to properties as you send over the details.
We can also upload historical meter readings and generate back bills for as long as is required by your processes allowing you to bill standing charges or estimated bills for the migration process and then correct the bills with the live readings.
